Blog #3

This video made me really think about all the things I buy and take for granted are hard works from other people. It just showed both sides of the story really well. We dont really see things like this on tv very much. The media picked a social group that spends the most money and we are the target market for all the comercials like buying shoes or new cars. Then since it was so easy for us to buy those things we dont really think about all the hard work behind the things that other people do, maybe make their only living on. This video made me really sad, and think about being more carefull of what i buy and how I use it.

  2. The video also made me think about the small importance we give to the things we have. I think that we don't see this stuff on TV because most of the rich people don't care about poverty because they have everyting they need. Videos like this help people to realize that every single thing we have could had been made with the hard work of a kid who is poor and that could be being abused. As you said it is important to think before we buy something and to take care of all the things we have.

  3. Every body should be thinking who made all this stuff for people, who can buy those things. Think really carefully what they use and throw out the stuff they don't need. Too bad that the media can't shown this on TV that much if it can it would be light up for everybody that they need to appreciate what they have and that the children/ people from poor economic places that they made for use and they are getting for less money to do it.

  4. Yeah I don't often think about what went into making the things I buy. It's just so easy to go out a buy the cheapest thing and not see how it affects others. To see that because I had to buy the cheapest product companies don't have to pay workers as much, or don't have to give them better conditions.

I'm also your new group member, Cody.
